Back-To-School

This picture is from the first day of school this year. It is my son William and his friend Alexis...

I just wanted to check in for a bit to let you all know that I have been busy every day this week subbing and expect to be busy from this point forward - I even have a few days booked in January! Suffice it to say things are going well. I already have some good stories but can't really share them in an open forum like this - so I may be starting a private, by-invitation-only blog for that very purpose.

Anyway - I wanted to check in with everyone just to let you all know I am still alive and well...

I'm SO glad that your substitute teaching is going well! What a gift you're giving to the teachers AND the students who value learning!

Wanted to say, congratulations on your teaching job, and I'm so glad it's going well! That's wonderful. It's fun to mold young minds and teach them critical thinking skills. Or just to sing silly songs with them, that works too.

I was wondering what happened to you. I hope it's going well for you. :)

I like the singing silly songs part, marvin - do that myself a lot!!! And recite poems, etc
Jeanne, we are now doing almost the exact same job - only difference my job is called Learning Support PT - but it is still the same outcome!!
We should arrange to observe each other - except we are in differenrt states!

I hope I'll be invited to the "by invitation only" blog, if you start one.

I left you a message at Weekend Wordsmith. It basically says, "Of course, I'll be hanging around."

You probably haven't yet noticed on my NaNo blog (as busy as you've been) that I got an email notification the other day. I was selected to be the ML (Municipal Liaison) for the Chattanooga region, so I'm excited.

Will you be too busy to do NaNoWriMo in November?
