William and I are invited to his friend's house this evening for cake and ice cream for his little sister's birthday. We had made a little
"Playing School Kit" for William's friend back in May and I wanted to do something along a similar vein for his little sister. So I bought a canvas bag, ironed on a design and personalized it with paint. Inside is a tiara and wand to be decorated with sparkles and bows and then two larger foam pieces to be used with Princess Tea foam stick ons. Hope she likes it!

You are SO creative! That looks TERRIFIC!
I'm having a birthday party - please come :D
She loved it, BTW - I sat with her and helper her with the crown and then she was off and running~ Uhm - Froggy? Isn't your birthday in February? ;)
I knew she'd love it!
Hey Jeannie,
Just went to Walmart with my neighbor (she's a teacher and advises me of school supply sales). 24 pack of crayola crayons for 22 cents. Elmer's glue sticks (2 to a pack) for 22 cents. Stocked up b/c I'll probably be homeroom parent again so am planning on giving them a goody bag for the holidays with the crayons and glue sticks. I'll keep adding things as she advises me of more sales. You should stock up for your "school kits".
@ Jeannie - yes, it's my Birthday in February... it was one of those subtle compliments that I give out from time to time :)
@ gmom - thanks for that... off to Wally World! (YAY!! He's back 2 school tomorrow!!!)
Thanks, GMOM - but I don't shop at Walmart. Keep us posted though! Especially if you find any other deals anywhere else. Thanks!
@Froggy: Oh. I see. I CAN be daft at times, eh?
Did you want me to answer that? ;)
