What I've Learned...

Let me just share with you something I learned yesterday. Nothing terribly profound, but useful just the same... Pizza Cutters, at least really GOOD pizza cutters like one might get from say - Pampered Chef - are sharp.

Really REALLY sharp. Like a knife. Only round. So if you fail to remove the protective shield they provide in the correct way you might, oh I don't know, slice your finger, for example.

And it might hurt.

A LOT!

That is what happened to me yesterday. I was so excited to show Ron the new ergonomically correct, gimongous pizza cutter that I went to remove the plastic protector (In a way inconsisyenet with the intention of the manufacturer apparently) and in one split second there was blood. EVERYWHERE. Nice. Like a papercut. On steroids. Ouch.

Do you need stitches??
Hate to say this, but reminds me of something I would do!
Remember the cut I got a couple of years ago? Was it Christmas? It was some Holiday I remember - and Uncle Leeroy was holding my arm WAY up in the air! At 6"10", that is WAY up!

Like mother like daughter!

No - nowhere near as bad as that! You cut yourself with a serrated blade - this was a clean through cut and will heal relatively easily and quickly but basically makes my thumb of little use in the meantime...

Ouch. So is there a pizza your thumb missing?

OMG. There is that droll British humor of yours...

Just a clean slice... :D

Owwww!!! You poor thing! Yes, those Pampered Chef tools are the BEST at what they do. Drawing blood.

So, you patched yourself up with your big box of Band Aids that you got at Aldi for $1.39 on sale? ;-)

Hi! Found your blog this morning and like it very much! Cutting myself while trying to show off something new is something I would do!

Ouch! So sorry you cut yourself.
Having spent my life working with X-acto knives and matte cutter blades, I feel your pain, as they say.

Love Marvin's sense of humor - the reference to the ALDI'S $1.39 bandaids! what a memory that man has!
