So - I decided to have a little fun at the expense of my poor gastrointestinally-challenged canine...
P-ewwwwww Clerihew (an Ode to Gunther)
My dog is just a dear,
But his belly is something else, I fear.
Daily he releases toxic flatus,
Requiring us to use a breathing apparatus!

You have a dog that makes you curse,
but I have one that's even worse,
as soon as I rest from a busy afternoon,
he howls for an hour like a wolf at full moon !!
